Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She held the post from 2021 until 2022. As a member in the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy communications director(2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015; and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki worked as a CNN political contributor between 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 by working on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was then appointed press secretary in John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director for Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned to politics in 2012 as the press secretary for President Obama’s 2012 campaign. [20] Psaki was named as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. There was speculation that Psaki would replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. In the year 2015, she was recalled to the White House as communications director and stayed through the end of the Obama administration.
