Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie (born November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was a former political candidate, as a host from the US at MSNBC, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, former host and co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagarenjeti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they were quitting the show in order to start their own project called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is the co-host of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time together with Bill Maher. In 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball credits her interest in politics due to the reality that she became a mother during the 2008 primaries, and was also able to observe the US presidential election results while in Jordan. She observed how it affected the citizens of the country and developed an appreciation for US political influence across the globe. She was a senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the 2010 election, losing to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 until July 2015, she hosted of The Cycle on MSNBC. She created the People's House Project, an action committee working for Democratic causes in May 2017.
